Witchsona

When I saw these cute and creative "witchsonas" on tumblr, I really wanted to do mine ! I had a lot of fun inventing the character and her story. Drawing her, on the other side, proved to be more of a struggle... The papier wasn't really suited for watercolors, so I took a long  time getting the colors how I wanted, and then... my scanner ate all the greens and blues, and my camera was not that much better this time. I did my best to adjust settings on Gimp to try to find back the atmosphere and colors from the original. I think I succeeded in the end. Lots of thanks to for encouraging me when I was raging along the way !
Anyway. I actually own almost anything pictured here : the staff, the hat, the dragon (as a plushie), the pants, the phials... I might actually make this a costume one day !

Quand j'ai vu toutes ces "witchsonas" (où on se dessine version sorcier(e) ) sur tumblr, ça m'a fait super envie ! Je me suis beaucoup amusée à inventer le personnage et son histoire. Par contre, le dessin, ça a été une autre paire de manches... Le papier n'était franchement pas adapté à l'aquarelle, du coup j'ai mis des plombes à obtenir les couleurs que je voulais... Puis quand je l'ai scanné, mon scanner a mangé tous les verts et les bleus ! Et mon appareil photo n'était pas tellement mieux, cette fois-ci. Du coup, j'ai fait de mon mieux sous Gimp pour essayer de retrouver l'ambiance et les couleurs du dessin original. Je crois que j'ai fini par y arriver ! Un grand merci à pour m'avoir encouragée quand j'enrageais lors de la création de ce dessin !
Quoiqu'il en soit... J'ai vraiment pratiquement tout ce qui est dessiné ici : le bâton, le chapeau, le dragon (en peluche !), le sarouel, les fioles... Peut-être bien que je porterai vraiment ce costume, un jour !
